The Verdict

If you don’t sleep with your partner, then the buying decision rests on comfort and space. Practically, there is a difference of 15-inch width between a full sized bed and a twin sized mattress but there is no difference in lengths unless you start considering a twin XL. Therefore, if you are not short on space then you should go for a full sized mattress.

You need to have plenty of room to roll around and stretch in your bed and you cannot do this with a twin mattress. Prices don’t make much of an issue if we compare a twin with a full. Hence, room size and sleeping space on the bed is the only factor to consider here and if you want plenty of room then buying a full-sized mattress is the right way to go.
